NTI Promotes DEY in Different Governorates

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has organized a number of activities to introduce and promote the different training programs and grants offered to university graduates, nationwide.

Activities included a visit to Dakahlia Governorate, where meetings were held for some entities to promote Digital Egypt Youth (DEY) initiative, with the aim to reach a large number of graduates and encourage them to join the initiative.

The meetings included a presentation on all aspects and details of DEY programs. The Fiber Optics Training program was introduced as well, targeting a different category of young people, with the aim to qualify them to work in smart cities, in this field.

The meetings also discussed the possibility of organizing special courses for the graduates who do not meet the initiative criteria, with up to 50% discount. This is in addition to supporting the youth whose families benefit from Takaful and Karama (solidarity and dignity) program, as well as Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), who represent a priority group for care.

Moreover, NTI organized an event in Creativa Innovation Hub in South Valley University, Qena Branch. The event explained DEY registration steps and the benefits gained from joining the initiative, including a certification for each program, and rewards for trainees.

DEY targets graduates of universities and higher institutes, starting from Class 2012. Training is organized online or inside Creativa Innovation Hubs in universities, in Mansoura, Minya, Sohag, Qena, Aswan and Menoufia Governorates, using the latest equipment.
