Youth Enablement for Freelancing

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has launched the "Youth Enablement for Freelancing" initiative to train 20,000 young people, nationwide, to work on freelancing platforms. The initiative is within the framework of MCIT strategy to promote human development and in response to recent developments.

The initiative contributes to building the capacities and skills of Egyptian youth in various fields that help them find job opportunities through freelancing platforms, such as digital marketing, mobile applications, website development, and graphic design.

The initiative is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, through the integrated community centers.

– Phase I: Providing training on general skills, such as communication and leadership skills
– Phase II: Assessing trainees to determine their most appropriate fields of work;
– Phase III: Providing specialized professional training
– Phase IV: Providing career enablement workshops on how to get a job through freelancing platforms.
