The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat headed, today, to Dubai,  for a two-day visit to participate in the seventh annual meeting of the World Government Summit, which will be held on February 10-12, attended by more than 4,000 world leaders, policy makers and experts from more than 150 countries.

The World Government Summit is a global platform dedicated to shaping the future of governments worldwide. Each year, the Summit sets the agenda for the next generation of governments, focusing on how they can harness innovation and technology to solve universal challenges facing humanity.
 
During his participation, Talaat is to meet with a number of government representatives to exchange experiences and insights on related topics. He will also hold a number of meetings with representatives of major international companies and international and regional ICT institutions to discuss enhancing mutual cooperation and reviewing investment opportunities in Egypt's ICT sector.
