The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has accepted new four startups in the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) Incubation Program (Start IT), winners of Start IT 29th round. Winners are Plstka, Wasalni, Techowelle and Milk & Diamond.
Start IT is a quarterly nationwide business plan competition, targeting entrepreneurs with ICT-related prototype and proof of concept, who work on turning their ideas into startups.
Winners are offered a unique opportunity to have their ideas incubated at one of TIEC incubation centers for one year. Incubation package includes cash fund and in-kind services, such as consultancy services, software and hardware tools and marketing support. This is in addition to a working space with basic furniture and Internet access, and access to technical, subject-matter advisory, business consulting and mentoring.
TIEC was inaugurated in 2010. It aims to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the local ICT industry through building enterprises and individuals’ capacities, providing innovation assessment and certification services, and taking part in national innovation initiatives.
