The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), a representative of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), are delivering a workshop on opportunities and challenges facing startups working in the digital Arabic content industry.
The effort is part of the collaboration between MCIT ESCWA in implementing the Digital Arabic Content (DAC) program in Egypt through TIEC.
The workshop will take place on Sunday March 2 at TIEC premises; it targets entrepreneurs who are willing to establish startups working in projects related to the Digital Arabic Content industry, and different stakeholders who are willing to support entrepreneurs in this area.
Furthermore, TIEC and ESCWA will launch the Start IT – DAC competition as a side event to this workshop. Winners in Start IT – DAC will be offered an incubation package in one of TIEC's incubators.
