Egypt Post, Congolese Counterpart Ink Protocol on Promoting e-Commerce

Egypt Post and the Democratic Republic of the Congo Post (SCPT) have inked a protocol of cooperation on e-commerce; financial and postal services; postal security; postal infrastructure and service system development; training provision; and expertise transfer. The protocol was signed during the visit of a high-level delegation from Egypt Post to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

TIEC Honors Top Innovation Ambassadors

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has honored a number of Innovation Ambassadors for the spirit of cooperation they demonstrated and the activities they carried out. TIEC Innovation Ambassador program includes more than 260 volunteers and aims to promote creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship and support the implementation of TIEC programs nationwide.

NTRA Expands Mobile Network Coverage on Five Main Roads

The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has embarked on a project to expand mobile network coverage on five main roads. For EGP 324 million, NTRA will invite the companies licensed to build and run mobile phone base stations to bid for the project, with the service to operate by early 2022.

EOI 2021 Concludes

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) have co-organized the closing ceremony of the 14th Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics (EOI) at AASTMT premises in New Alamein City. The ceremony was attended by officials and teams from the two sides.
