African App Launchpad
The African App Launchpad (AAL) is a presidential initiative that aims to build capacities of 10,000 young Egyptians and Africans, and support the establishment of 100 startups in digital games and apps development. The initiative is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international companies, ministries, and different institutions across Africa.
Furthermore, the AAL Cup was launched as the first-of-its-kind pitch competition in Africa, providing entrepreneurs and startups, in their early stages, with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and present their business projects in this field. This is in addition to offering cash prizes and fund totaling $60,000 USD.
