Digital Transformation for IT Companies
Digital Transformation for IT Companies (DX4IT) is an initiative launched by SECC with the aim of defining a standard capability-based reference architecture for IT companies and SMEs in Egypt.

The program provides a common vocabulary, reusable designs, and industry best practices such as IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT® 5), Agile, DevOps, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).

DX4IT covers several enterprise architecture domains, including business, data, applications, technology, and outcome and performance measurement.

As part of DX4IT, SECC launched the Digital Transformation for Software Development (DX4SW) initiative. It is implemented in collaboration with the Chamber of Information Technology and Communications (CIT) and the Egyptian Information, Telecommunications, Electronics and Software Alliance (EITESAL).

DX4SW aims to support the digital transformation in Egypt through helping software development companies achieve their digital strategies and business objectives efficiently. This is achieved through building the core capacity for software development and testing the related processes according to international standards and practices, such as CMMI, Agile, DevOps and TOGAF, using an innovative technology-enabled capability-based reference architecture that focuses on five main aspects: Performance and Outcome, Processes, People, Information Systems, and Technology.
