60 contestants participate in the official competition of the 5th EOI that will start 21 August , 2007

this year , a contest for participants with special needs is held. For the first time the contest will include 10 with learning difficulties along with 10 with visual impairment and 10 with hear and speech impairment

Registration conditions:
- Participants who can take part in the official contest should be between the ages of 13 and 20. Contestants should have good knowledge of basic programming
- Contestants should pass all entrance exams set in IT Clubs to qualify for the Olympiad
- Qualified contestants will receive a free month and a half of training in IT Clubs based on their exam scores
