Consultation with the private sector is being done in a number of manners, namely by forming committees, hearing sessions, and creating task forces. MCIT and NTRA often call for public hearing sessions about new issues such as WiFi technologies, VoIP licensing or Business Process Outsourcing and invite the public to participate in the discussion. In case of reaching conclusive results, actions would be taken by the various participants. In case where there is still room for further analysis, taskforces would be called upon from various representatives of public and private sector to continue the research and report back some results or recommendations.
