    ICT Indicators Report 2012-2016

     
    ICT Indicators Report, published annually, reviews a number of ICT indicators in Egypt; namely, infrastructure indicators, economic indicators, and the ICT sector's role in development. The methodology for calculating Internet users in Egypt has been changed in line with worldwide trends and, therefore, shouldn’t be compared with reports preceding 2015.

Note: The methodology for calculating Internet users in Egypt has been changed. It will depend on field surveys rather than hard data, according to recommendations from the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and other international organizations, and in line with the worldwide trend. This indicator, therefore, will be published on an annual basis from the results of a yearly survey, implemented jointly with the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). Hence, it should not be compared with values for the years preceding 2015.

    Note: The methodology for calculating Internet users in Egypt has been changed.
