Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel witnessed today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Seneca Institute, one of the major institutes in Canada specialized in contact centers and customer care training.
This MoU has been signed during the activities of the high-level United States mission, led by Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel.The Toronto-based institute provides its services to 100.000 students, in its 8 premises.
According to this MoU, Seneca, in collaboration with ECCO, an Egyptian contact centers company, IMI, an Egyptian company working in the field of providing solutions, and QES, a Canadian company working in the field of education and interactive online learning, will open a new academy in Cairo Contact Centers Park in Maadi. Seneca will also provide Egyptian students and trainees with basic skills for working in ICT field and providing specialized services.
