    Proactivesoft Company Attains the CMMI-SVC for the second technical Level Version 1.3

    Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), affiliated to Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has fulfilled providing the services required for the Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) for "Proactivesoft", a company specialized in designing and producing computer programs.

    Passing this evaluation successfully, "Proactivesoft" is the first Egyptian company, and the third company worldwide, qualifying to the second level of this model.

    This Capability Maturity Model Integration is one of the models announced by the American Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

    The model allows to provide the best way to manage services in all IT sectors such as communication centers, Internet service providers, application providers, training institutions, electronic sets producers, hospitals, banks, and others.

    This, in turn, contributes to upgrade the levels of such entities through implementing a set of the existing operations relying on basis of standard criteria.

    "Proactivesoft" company presents the integrated solution for the companies that connect all their departments in one integrated running circle collecting momentarily all data with accuracy.

    These solutions are designed also to monitor all the activities and present accurate and momentarily accounting and administrative data for decision makers on all levels.

    These all designs and specifications are meant to maintain the highest rates of quality, efficiency and productivity for these companies.

    Through this services, the Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) aims to help these companies adopting this model via providing required consultations, training and international evaluation services (SCAMPI Formal Appraisal).

    This proposed model is to enable such companies undertake the fierce competition in the foreign markets to present their products internationally.

    This new service comes in the framework of the new trend adopted by SECC to develop the competitive advantages for the manufacturing Egyptian software industry, upgrading the quality of their services, and expanding the services range so as to include the working companies in the field of providing IT services.

    SECC tackles offering this services for many local companies, in addition to multiple firms in different Arab countries.

    In this regard, SECC held an orientation session about the Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) and IT Services management (Information Technology Infrastructure Library-ITIL) in the first of June at its premises in the Smart Village.
