    ITIDA Organizes ‘Digital Transformation for Government Leaders’ Online Workshop

    Under the auspices of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has organized an online workshop for government executives, titled “Digital Transformation for Government Leaders,” in collaboration with the Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC).

    The workshop comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to build and develop the capacities of the Egyptian government employees and executives. It aims to introduce digital transformation, digital empowerment and leveraging Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain, for business development within the government work environment.

    The workshop reflects Egypt’s vision for achieving digital transformation, represented in building Digital Egypt. This includes, not only digitizing the government services but also governing the government activities, enhancing their performance and managing policies with information, with providing all the necessary pillars to support digital transformation, in a way that guarantees providing high quality, continuous and excellent services to citizens.

    A large number of senior executives and officials joined the workshop, from the Ministries of Civil Aviation, Social Solidarity, Electricity, Immigration, Health, Agriculture and MCIT, as well as from New Valley, Alexandria, Sharqia, Qena, Qalyubia and Fayoum Governorates.
