    ICT Minister Heads to Dubai for Gitex 2015

    Cairo, 17 October 2015
    The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Yasser ElKady Leaves Cairo, this evening, heading to Dubai, UAE , leading an Egyptian an ICT delegation to partake in Gitex Technology Week 2015, edition 35  which kicks off on October 18 -22 under the theme: "The Future of the Internet of Everything", with the participation of experts and representatives of government entities and international companies working in the ICT field.

    ElKady is set to inaugurate, tomorrow, the Egyptian pavilion participating in the exhibition, which includes 25 Egyptian exhibitors as well as about 40 representatives of visiting companies, under the auspices of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

    During his two-day participation in the event, the ICT minister will meet—on the sidelines of the conference—with representatives of government entities and international ICT companies to discuss means of cooperation and boost investment, as well as exchanging experiences in areas of common interest.

    "GITEX Technology Week" is the largest event in the ICT field in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia where more than 3900 exhibiting companies participate in the current edition.

    This is in addition to 143000 visitors and 2000 executives from 144 countries to display the latest technologies in this industry and hold extensive discussions on ways of developing them. The current edition discussions are due to focus on innovation and rapid development that the "Internet of Everything” witnesses.
