    NTI Organizes Face to Face Training Workshop on Spectrum Engineering Techniques

    The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) will jointly organize, with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) regional office, a Face to Face Training Workshop on Spectrum Engineering Techniques on July 16-18 at NTI Smart Village premises. The face to face training is part of the Spectrum Management program, held under the auspices of the ITU Centers of Excellence for Arab States.
    The training workshop aims at understanding technical aspects of signal identification, and noise and interference consequences on digital communications and identifying and assessing noise and interference measurement and identification methods for the sake of efficient spectrum utilization. It also aims at grasping the limits of unwanted emissions, identifying spectrum utilization efficiency measures, and investigating the spectrum engineering practices and analysis tools of spectrum management.

    Participants from different countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Djibouti, and Sudan will take part in the event. The training workshops target professionals from various sectors such as ICT, telecom operators, project leaders, program managers, project managers, functional managers, engineers, private business owners, team leaders, strategic and business planners and project team members.

    The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) was founded in 1984 as a scientific institute with university status, affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. NTI is recognized as a center of excellence, a leading training and educational institution, and a focal point for applied research activities in the field of telecommunications not only in Egypt but across the Arab and African regions.
