SECC Supports SMEs for the Third Time

    Date published: 8 May 2008

Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) began carrying out a project that supports small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) via applying the Software Process Improvement Guide (SPIG) for the third consecutive time.

The project aims to offer SMEs the necessary services that can help them enhance their performance like training and technical consultations. Such services are likely to pave the way for SMEs to receive the SEI-Authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraisers for the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).

After implementing the project over a period of seven months, selected companies will be receiving the CMMI.

    About SECC
Established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in June 2001, the Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) aims to boost the software industry in Egypt by improving the software engineering practices so as to achieve a strong presence in the global market.
