    ITIDA Participates in Second Annual Arab Outsourcing Conference and Expo 2010 in Dubai

    A key session entitled " Egypt – Global service delivery leader of the Middle East and Africa Region "will be held

    Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) participates in the 2nd Annual Arab Outsourcing Conference & Expo, held in Dubai from 26th to 27th of April, 2010.

    The conference aims to exchange knowledge and experience in outsourcing industry and IT services, especially with the growing impact of ICT on emerging economies with prominent competitive advantages, with Egypt on top of them.

    ITIDA's official delegation will be led by Board Member and Strategy Advisor Amin Khair Eldin. The delegation will also involve representatives of Egyptian and international companies operating in Egypt.

    The conference coincides with radical changes in the global map of outsourcing destination service. Many international reports confirm the promising position of Africa and Middle East region, and locate it among the most attractive areas for foreign investments in this field.

    The conference will witness an important session entitled " Egypt – Global service delivery leader of the Middle East and Africa Region "

    Mr. Amin Khair Eldin, emphasizes that ITIDA participation this year reflects its strategy to attract foreign direct investments in the field of outsourcing and ICT services to Egypt. Besides, it enhances prospects of mutual cooperation between the Egyptian companies and their counterparts in the Gulf region.

    The participation of ITIDA as a main sponsor of the conference, allows Egypt to showcase its potentials and success factors as a leading outsourcing destination and ICT services provider in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

    The Egyptian delegation involves in the conference through several meetings and seminars. ITIDA Board Member Mr. Hossam Megahed will run panel discussion about challenges and opportunities provided by the outsourcing sector to IT companies in the Middle East region.

    The Conference considers major opportunity for opening communication channels and networking with outsourcing services experts and decision-makers, reaching international media and, showing the offshoring and ICT services industry achievement and success stories.

    It is worth mentioning that, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals™ (IAOP™), a global, standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession, has recently selected Egypt among one of the promising global outsourcing  destinations.

    In a report entitled " Global outsourcing" the IAOP™ outlined Egypt as one of the world's most attractive outsourcing and off shoring destinations, due to its large talent pool and its ability in providing a safe, modern business environment skills essential to outsourcing industry.

    A set of oriented sessions will be held to tackle hot issues including, the future of business outsourcing in the Middle East, the main trends of off shoring destination and best practices of  ICT industry and its related services.

    The conference will also shed light on strategic outsourcing models and strategies of business local outsourcing solutions for institutions and IT companies.
