    MCIT Implements NTL Initiative

    The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is implementing the Next Technology Leaders (NTL) Initiative, launched by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Cairo ICT 2016 on November 27-30 to build capacity of young calibers on the latest information, communications and electronics technologies. The initiative will be implemented through the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), affiliated to the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

    NTL is within the state’s keenness on capacity building to be orchestrated through the establishment of integral, practical, high-quality learning ecosystem, built on the collaborative effort of top universities and leading companies, and made available on globally leading Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) platforms. The ecosystem aims to promote the value of knowledge and innovation, create job opportunities for fresh graduates and prepare a youth generation capable of using the latest ICT technologies in all sectors, achieving further development, productivity and competitiveness.

    Registration will be constantly open. Applications received within a certain month will be evaluated in the following month to start learning and training process based on the tracks dates. Study group meetings will be held on a regular basis to offer coaching and mentorship. Upon successful completion, each learner will receive a recognition certificate and valuable prizes.
