    Seventh ArabNet Beirut 2016 to Hold

    ArabNet Beirut will take place on March 1-3 in Beirut, Lebanon, highlighting digital creativity, technology, entertainment, business and entrepreneurship in the region. The event features over 80 speakers from across the MENA region and abroad, discussing the latest in digital across media and entertainment, arts, creative communities, food and beverage and other industries.

    The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) will take part in the ArabNet Beirut which will feature a Design + Code day on March 1, and is to organize hands-on workshops for developers and designers who wish to hone their skills and networks. The event will host leading international and regional investors to highlight opportunities and challenges facing the sector, and showcase top startups and entrepreneurs.

    ArabNet will feature several competitions, among which is the Ideathon competition which aims to showcase the best regional entrepreneurs with creative ideas and the Creative Combat aiming to highlight young regional talents in the advertising, communications and media industries.

    This is in addition to the Innovation Avenue which is an ArabNet initiative to help hardware developers and designers from across the MENA region to showcase their products, and connect to potential partners, developers, investors and the media.

    There is also Startup Demo Competition which aims to showcase the best of regional startups to an enthusiastic crowd of investors, incubators, digital professionals, as well as connecting entrepreneurs with the world of digital.
