    SECC Provides Assessment Services in China, Governance Services in Egypt

    The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) , affiliated to the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has recently provided assessment services for two Chinese companies that obtained, through SECC,  the third technical level of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).

    SECC offers many CMMI training, consulting and assessment services to a number of institutions and governmental organizations in Egypt and Arab countries. SECC also offered  its various services to software and IT service management companies in order to raise the level of services, enable them to apply international standards and enhance their competitiveness at various levels.

    In line with the State's policy to fight against corruption, SECC also has qualified and trained  a number of employees in ICT companies within COBIT  5 framework for IT governance and management, being an accredited training entity.

    SECC was established in 2001 to support and develop software and IT services industry in Egypt. The center provides a number of consultancies, evaluation, accreditation and training services and promotes the use of measuring standards for the industry in order to make companies able to understand new technologies and export their products to regional and global markets.
