    Africa Internet Summit Kicks off in Tunisia

    The third edition of the Africa Internet Summit (AIS) is held in Tunis, Tunisia from May 24 to June 5 under the theme "Beyond connection: Internetworking for African Development'' where key Internet-related development issues faced by Africa are discussed. The event is hosted by the Tunisian Internet  Agency (ATI).

    AIS 15 plenary sessions span over four days following the training sessions from 2 to 5 June and will include the AfNOG-16 and AFRINIC-22 Meetings. Plenary sessions bring various stakeholder groups of the African ICT community together, for public policy discussions, presentations and stakeholder panel sessions on the allocation and management of IP addresses, technical  and internet governance issues, domain names and cyber laws.
