IDC Organizes CIO Summit in Egypt

    Date published: 22 March 2015

International Data Corporation (IDC) is organizing, for the first time in Egypt, a Chief Information Officer (CIO) Summit end of March, in collaboration with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

The Summit aims to attract over 200 attendees of CIOs and experts from Egypt, North Africa and the Levant,  providing a number of platforms for sharing ideas, advisory services to better assist them in their jobs, as well as establishing a peer-to-peer community and optimizing modern technology platforms such as cloud computing and social media.

Last August, ITIDA and IDC signed a cooperation agreement to launch Africa Together program that aims to help ICT local companies connect and cooperate with partners in the African markets, through studies and researches that IDC oversees.

Another key facet of 'Africa Together' is IDC Industry Technology Advantage Program (ITAP). The program empowers ITIDA with comprehensive data and trend analysis of ICT markets across the entire world.
