    Egypt Partakes in Fourth Session of International Forum of Digital Health

    Egypt, represented by Egypt Information and Communication Technology Trust Fund (ICT-TF), jointly established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the United Nations Development Program UNDP, will partake in the Fourth Session of International Forum of Digital Health, held on February 7-8, in Hammamet, Tunisia, under the theme “Digital Health: a societal Challenge, a commitment”.

    Acting Head of the Central Department for Community Development – MCIT and the National Project Director – Egypt ICT Trust Fund (UNDP – MCIT), is to take part in a session held under the theme “Telemedicine and e-Health at the service of Universal Health Coverage”. Dahroug is to showcase ICT-TF projects and MCIT efforts in these areas.

    The telemedicine project, implemented by ICT-TF, aims at utilizing ICT infrastructure and resources in providing remote diagnostic services for remote and marginalized areas. It serves non-governmental, non-profit medical institutions, and cooperates with educational medical institutions in serving sustainable development goals, specifically in rural and remote areas.
