    Egypt Partakes in CES 2019

    Egypt, represented by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), is partaking in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019, held in Las Vegas, USA, on January 8-11. ITIDA sponsors the participation of 10 Egyptian startups, under the official pavilion “Time for Egypt”, where they exhibit their digital products and solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), block chain, and other applications serving the e-commerce, shipping, stock exchange and digital financial services sectors.

    The startups that were selected to participate in CES are: SavvyTech, Noqood, Dippy Duddes, Elkrem, Aquatika, BotCommander, ShopX, Selena AI, Waste Marche, and GBarena.

    More than 100 national startups submitted their requests to participate in this important event, where 10 of them were selected. They were interviewed by a panel of representatives from ITIDA, the General Division of Digital Economy and Technology, the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), and a number of experts in the areas of ICT, Investment and Entrepreneurship.

    ITIDA provides all forms of support, advice and guidance to enable exhibitors to conclude professionally their transactions and to help entrepreneurs obtain more predictable financing and find solutions to a number of challenges facing startups, particularly with foreign investors.
