    TIEC Launches Åbtiecar 2012

    Aiming to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in information and communications technology sector (ICT) for the benefit of national economy, the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) launches its Student Recognition program named “Graduation Projects Competition –Åbtiecar 2012”.

    The competition is launched in cooperation with Multinationals and MCIT affiliated organizations, for university students in the graduation year, recognizing the best graduation project in this year.

    Åbtiecar 2012 is an opportunity to discover the innovative young talents, and ideas, and link them to the industry. It encourages people to develop new solutions that are aligned with the trend technologies.

    The competition also comes in line with the Center’s main target related to fostering innovation culture in the coming generations and supporting innovative ideas commercialization.
    The submitted applications are judged through an independent judging panel that comprises distinguished members from academia, TIEC, and industry experts. The top winning teams are chosen according to novelty of application, algorithm and architecture, the value of the idea, the potential beneficiaries, the industry application and methodology.
