    TIEC and Ain-Shams University Sign an MoU to Spread Innovation and Entrepreneurship among Students

    CEO of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), Dr. Ashraf Farghaly and the acting president of Ain-Shams University, Dr. Mohamed Al-Husseini Al-Toukhy, signed a memorandum of understanding.

    This MoU reflects both entities vision to spread the concepts of technology innovation and entrepreneurship culture among youth.

    Signing the MoU took place at Ain-Shams University premises, with the presence of a number of senior professors and high officials of the Center. 

    The MoU aims mainly at creating technology incubators at engineering, and information and computer science faculties, with TIEC providing the technical support.

    This entails organizing workshops at TIEC premises at Smart Village, hosting specialized professors of Ain-Shams University to deliver lectures for IT companies in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.

    It has also been agreed to implement common projects and undertake mutual researches related to master degree in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship fields.

    In this context, TIEC CEO, Dr. Ashraf Farghaly stressed that the MoU comes in line with the Centerís main goals in the scope of promoting entrepreneurship and integrating ICT in various sectors leading, then, to national welfare.

    TIEC seeks to help youth find their way to success in technical field to be able to compete in local and international markets, Dr. Farghaly underlines.
